LOOKING FOR AFFORDABLE ACCOMODATION?
HELP OUT AROUND THE HOUSE IN EXCHANGE FOR ACCOMODATION
Whether you’re a student, working full time or work from home, becoming a Helper could help you save
money on rent as well as give you a unique living experience in London
Our online application form will give us an idea of your requirements, experience and schedule.
Once we’ve received your application, we will be in touch if we have any rooms suitable to your needs.
Wait to hear from us
We will then arrange an interview to discuss your application form in more detail and tell you more about the room on offer.
We will organise an introduction at the home and if this is successful we will commence with a trial month.
We will organise ID and DBS checks, request references and write up a Homeshare agreement.
References and checks
We will check in with you once a week on the trial month and once a month thereafter.
On going support
Our fees are completely transparent with no surprises. Signing up is completely free and we will only start charging once we’ve found you a match. We do not charge a placement fee or any admin fees, everything you pay is listed clearly below:
For the initial introduction and ongoing management of the agreement, we charge a monthly service fee which is considerably less expensive than the traditional forms of accommodation in London
One months service charge will be charged as a deposit at the start of the trial month. This is given back to the helper at the end of the agreement given that they do not violate the terms of the agreement
DBS + ID CHECKS
£12 + £10
We require DBS and ID checks once a match is made. We will conduct these for you for a charge of £12 for DBS and £10 for ID check. If you already have a valid DBS check, we will deduct this fee and only charge you for the ID check.

Before applying, please consider whether home sharing is for you. The scheme is most suitable for those who prefer to be at home during the evenings and genuinely enjoy helping others in need (especially elderly people).
At present we do not accept joint applications and in most cases the helper will not be allowed to have people stay over. If you are in a relationship, please consider this when applying.
