LOOKING FOR SOME HELP
AROUND THE HOUSE?

EXCHANGE A ROOM IN YOUR HOUSE FOR HELP AROUND THE HOME.

Whether its for you, a friend or a relative, the benefits of sharing your home with Room For Help are endless.
Below is a brief summary of what services we provide.

Home visit

A member of the Room For Help team will visit your home to find out more about your requirements and check that the room on offer is suitable for homesharing. We will take photos of the accommodation and add a listing to our website.

Finding a Match

We will then get to work at finding you the most suitable helper from our application forms. We interview all the applicants we put forward and you will get the final decision as to which one you would like to share with.

Checks

Once a match is made, we organise ID and DBS checks to be done and will write up an official homeshare agreement.

Management

We are also in charge of managing the agreement from start to finish by providing weekly check ups in the first month and monthly check ups thereafter.

Please Note…

At present we do not accept joint applications and in most cases the helper will not be allowed to have people stay over. If you are in a relationship, please consider this when applying.
It is important to clarify, our helpers are NOT profesional carers which means they can not provide personal or hygienic care such as issuing medication, bathing or physically assisting them in any way. This is something we will identify upon the home visit and if we feel we won’t be able to provide you with a helper we will let you know.
